Clonezilla is a free, open source partition and disk imaging/cloning program similar to Acronis True Image®, and is mainly sponsored by National Center for High-Performance Computing, Taiwan. It saves and restores only used blocks in hard drive. Two types of Clonezilla are available, Clonezilla live and Clonezilla SE (Server Edition). It could be used to Image or clone GNU/Linux, MS windows, Intel-based Mac OS, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, ChromiumOS, ChromeOS, and Minix. In this talk, we will give a short introduction to Clonezilla, speak about the updates of Clonezilla since 2016 Spring, then discuss about how to do an unattended system deployment for Cloud and big data computing environment. Clonezillaはオープンソースですが、商用のAcronis True Imageに似た高機能ディスク・イメージのクローンニング(cloning)プログラムです。Clonezillaプロジェクトの主なスポーンサーはNCHC(台湾の国家高速電脳センター）です。Clonezillaは、ハードディスク上、実際に使われたブロックのみ保存(save)と復元(restore)を行うため、処理速度がとても速いです。Clonezillaには、軽量のLive版とネットワーク運用向けのサーバ版(SE)の２種類が配布されています。現在はGNU/Linux, MS Windows,インテルCPUのMac OS, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, ChromiumOS, ChromeOSとMinixに対応しています。
このセミナーでは、まず、簡単にClonzillaプロジェクトを紹介し、そして2016年春以降のアップデートに触れて、最後に、クラウド及びビッグ・データ環境におけるシステム・ディプロイの自動化を紹介します。
